Ice Cream? No thanks :)

Great day today! Had a fun lunch date with my BFFs (Megan and Leeah. We ate at my favorite restaurant in Gvegas. If you know me you could probably guess but it's El Camino. Normally I would have had the buffet and filled my plate with lots of rice, cheesy chicken, Mexican pizza, and so on and topped it all off with cheese dip. Also, I would have probably gone back for for more rice. Then I would have finished it off with some sopapillas with honey and chocolate of course. Not to mention having an appetizer of chips and cheese dip. Wow! That's a lot! Today however I had 2 chips and a chicken cheese quesadilla. I got some guacamole to put on it as well. I had one glass of tea all day (usually I drink about three glasses at El Camino alone). We went for ice cream afterwards but I didn't get any. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to say no...lol. Came home and ran around the neighborhood. Then, the hubs came home and grilled some salmon. We also had a delicious salad with organic spinach leaves. Only water for supper. Now I'm gonna do some sit ups and arm weights, make me some tuna salad for tomorrow and read. I know I have only been doing this for 3 days but I already feel good. Usually when I go out to eat, I feel miserable when I am done eating. Today, I was satisfied but not miserably full, same thing tonight. This is really not as hard as I thought it would be. I'm still eating things that I like, I'm just cutting my portions and watching calories. The hardest part is getting started but once you do, you'll feel great. Goodnight :)
